Miller / McLeod Family

The Blog has been filled with Weddings and Engagements lately, so I thought I would catch up on some family sessions I have had over the last few months. This is the Miller Extended Family :) I LOVE extended family sessions. It is not an easy task to find a time when everyone in your ENTIRE family can get together. When it happens, you must act on it!! We were so fortunate to have a date that also included beautiful weather :) This field of sunflowers right on the family property was the perfect backdrop, along with the tractor! You would never know it, but it was about 150 degrees (not really) this evening and everyone had about twenty bottles of water. They were troopers to say the least. Extended family sessions usually take a little bit longer, but we were very efficient, ha! You can tell this family loves each other very much. Thanks a million for the honor of photographing this special time for you all. Here are some of my favorites.

Lindsey and Christopher ~ Engagement

Sometimes the best location is right in your own backyard! Lindsey knew that she wanted to have her horses included in their engagement session, so we decided to do the session right at her own stables and pasture. There was a threat of rain all day, but it was just beautiful at the time of our session. A little muggy, but what can you expect? This was my first session with horses, and they were amazing! I always forget how big horses are until I am right up next to them. They were so well behaved and overall a gorgeous addition to their session. We strolled around the pastures, and around their home, making it a very relaxing and casual evening. I really enjoyed getting to know Lindsey and Christopher and I can't wait for their wedding in October!
