Now that's COLD!
We woke up this morning with absolutely nothing to do. So, we drove to Highlands, NC! We bundled up, but not enough. It was 18 degrees there and snow on the ground! We knew it was going to be cold but we had no idea how cold it would really feel. Our faces were frozen and I think I only took five pictures. We walked around Main St and ate at "The Pizza Place" where we continued freeze our patooties off every time someone opened the door. The pizza was SUPER by the way. I highly recommend it. All in all, it was a beautiful day and a fun time. The kids got to see snow, and we did not sit around the house all day. It could not have been better, oh wait, a few degrees warmer would have been nice :)

That sounds like so much fun! We kept meaning to do a day trip like that with the girls to stop at all the waterfalls along the way this summer but just never seemed to get to it. Maybe we will try once it warms up a little in the spring. I have been freezing here all day today!
